Someone once asked me: 'What do girls want in a guy?' ie. what properties of the male kind attract females?

So that got me thinking, observing, and reading.

All girls are different. BUT we all have the same if not very similar subconscious minds.

1. Girls want a guy who can sweep them off their feet. Just like in fairytales. Why do you think Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella are children's classics? Ever since young, little girls have been fed with the romance of being swept off their feet by a charming prince on a white horse one day. Every girl wants to be that princess.


2. Girls like bad boys. Define bad? Subconsciously, girls like guys who take risks. It thrills them to no end, and then the guy is perceived as hot. Ever wondered why Bond usually gets all the girls?
3. Girls like physical security. ie. a nice bod. For example (well my example at least... heheh)
Tall, lean, and dresses well. If you are a girl, think about the times when you were near to or talking to a well-build, well-manered tall guy. Do you feel safer compared to when you were around a not-so-tall, not-so-well built guy?



4. Girls are attracted to confidence and optimism. Ehhem. Most girls are easily discouraged and fragile creatures who need a bit of optimism to balance their thoughts. A confident man stirs up maternal instincts and tells the girl 'this is good husband material, he seems like a person who can potentialy be the head of my family.' If you are a girl, although you may not be looking for a lifetime partner at the moment, dig into your subconscious mind. There you will most likely find this statement more than true.

5. Girls are attracted to Godliness. No man shines more than a man of God. It shows that the man is capable of faith and loving a God who created their universe. This fascinates girls and makes them want to give back some love in return. A man who is capable of loving something that he knows is bigger than himself is very attractive. He will be perceived as humble, loving, and worthy of the girls' love.

6. Girls are attracted to the sound of a man. Now what does that mean? His voice- deep, clear, and confident; His posture- confident strides, positive posture; His unspoken words- body language, aura; His speech- clear, confident, and well-spoken. And on top of that, some girls like a man who is good with music.

7. Girls are also attracted to the looks of a man. Girls love to think that its not the looks that attract them, rather, its the heart that did it in the first place. But believe me, if there was a scrawny, sleezy looking guy who looked pretty unkempt but had a heart of gold, he would less likely find a partner compared to Mr. Prince Charming. Somehow, in the minds of girls, a man who knows how to look after himself physically, will definitely be a good candidate to look after her in the future.

What is wrong with Prince Charming here? He has it all- it seems. All the qualities of what girl might be attracted to. All but one. And the most important one- his heart.

8. Girls are attracted to the 'caringness' of a man. A macho looking man who stops by the road to help an injured kitten scores 200% in most girls books. Or a tall, dark and handsome man who stops at the zebra crossing to let a group of girls cross the road just makes their hearts skip a beat if he smiles.

9. Girls are atracted to the hands of a man. Ok this is a weird point, isn't it? Ever heard of the phrase' in good hands'? Hands of a man doesn't mean where the hands of go, but what the hands look like and how he handles things with his hands. A lot of women find that attractive. A man with big hands or hmm 'responsible looking' hands is perceived as capable. Just look at this man. Then try covering his hand and see if you see the same-looking man (if you are a girl). Do you?


10. Most importantly, girls are attracted to the heart of a man. A man who knows his heart and a man after God's heart. A man who knows what he wants and has strong principles. A man who is willing to talk things out and listen, a man who is there to catch them when they fall. Of all the things that attract girls to a man, a man's heart is the definition of the man himself. No girl can hit a bigger jackpot than a girl who has won the heart of a man with a heart.
