A Pressing Question

I've always wondered,

Why Asians typically drive Hondas and Toyotas,

and
Why Aussies drive Fords and Holdens and Utes?

Then it got me thinking;

Does that question fall under the same category as:

why Asians eat rice and Westerners only order sweet and sour with fried rice at Chinese Restaurants?
or does it fall under the category of:

Why do people smoke and know that it will eventually lead to cancer and a slow, painful death and harm those around them doubly much,
and
Why people still drink every weekend knowing it is slowly killing their liver, their reputations and possibly ruining other people's lives plus it eats into their wallets?

Or are all these questions a superficial, unfair judgement on the people who fall under those categories?

I wonder.
