Juno

I went window shopping today. Oh all the sales! WHY!! It felt weird walking into my usual fav stores and browsing through the latest styles and fashion, wondering what size I'd fit into after I get back into shape. It's as if I didn't belong in the store or sections of the store, sort of the feeling you get when you walk into perhaps a hardware shop or a computer shop (for non-literates like me).

After having some 'me' time coffee I headed to the Diva store. Just to see if there was something I really liked so then I would have some excuse to 'shop'. But to my disappointment I didn't feel worthy enough yet to buy any fake jewelery. I caught one of the salesgirls looking towards my direction- you know how sometimes you just feel someone is looking at you and when you look towards their direction they are actually really looking at you? Yeah, it was one of those. She quickly pretended she was minding the shop instead.

Then as I approached the counter to check out the discounts nearby, I overheard her say to the other girl (I was out of sight as their their backs were facing me):

" Have you watched Juno?"

Enough said! I switched off and smiled to myself before coyly walking out of the store.

Sensitivity has reached a whole new level. It was a huge compliment!!

This is so not young looking. But I really love and appreciate F, who came up with the idea of taking photos together in her brother's home made studio.
