But some kids, never seem to grow up.

Almost twenty years later:This kid gets asked for ID when buying Coke at a bar.

This kid gets asked to go to Metros by stranger boys.

This kid gets shocked responses when others find out she is married, the first question is "so you have children?" They think it must've been teenage pregnancy or something. (that is so flattering, thanks)

This kid gets kid treatment from shopping places ie. ignored, or simply asked "yiou roight thoire?"

This kid gets shown cheap non-alcoholic stuff when asking for advice on what wine or champagne to buy at a liquor store.

This kid gets confused responses when she pays by credit card.

This kid gets stopped at every casino/bar and asked for ID although she goes there with friends at least 2years younger.

Students who work with this kid have the advantage of 'being' the boss.

How true the world only looks at the outer layers.

But this kid knows that God looks at the inside. Seldom do people not judge a book by its cover. This kid experiences it everyday she knows it's nothing but the truth about society.

However, sometimes it is good as she can get away with some things just with a cheeky grin. But it's the same as being judged because people think you are fat, ugly, or old-looking. This is why this kid doesn't believe in judging others based on the outside. What's on the outside is just a shell waiting to be opened/cracked.

Having said all that, kid is forever thankful for everything God has given. This kid would not want to trade anything for the world.
