What Speaks

Let's move on to lips!

This is for both boys AND girls who have problems with dry, chapped lips.
This is not another makeup blog :P

Having well-moisturised lips increases general wellbeing and may boost confidence (?).

Top of the list is Lucas Paw Paw Ointment which I always recommend to customers. Most come back for their second and third tube and I have had excellent feedback.

More about this wonder ointment:
1. It is fermented papaya
2. Does not smell like fermented papaya
3. It is a thick ointment
4. For repairing really chapped lips, but on a thick layer of ointment at night just before retiring.
5. It can be applied throughout the day to maintain baby smooth lips.
6. The only downside is that you have to use your finger to apply it on.
7. Can be used for other things, eg. dry hands, cuticles, and eczema.

Second is Mentholatum's lip ice lipbalm range. (does not usually come with the girly figurine
shown below).

More about it:
1. It feels like putting on ice on your lips as it contains menthol.
2. Menthol is a soothing agent, very pleasant to use especially if your lips feel 'tight' and cracked.
3. Can be applied on directly, best used in conjunction with Lucas Paw Paw Ointment (use the ointment at night, and lip balm throughout the day).
4. The only downside is I have not seen it in sold in Australia. Available in Malaysia and Singapore, or online.

A new discovery: Softlips by Mentholatum!
More about it:
1. The gelato flavours are exquisite!
2. Extremely smooth on, very pleasant flavour. Does not taste too sweet.
3. Available from shops eg. Priceline!
4. The only downside is the size. It is at least 20% smaller than the size of a normal lip balm stick. It also has a tiny cap which may be easily lost if not careful. Some people (like me) love the small size, it means it fits in my small going-out bags easily!
