A continuation of Chapter Seven: The Letter
"You're not supposed to be here you know," a voice boomed from behind.
"Mr T?"
"Get out before someone spots you,"
"Wait- I can explain. But where am I?"
"You don't know?"
"No I do not have the slightest clue, and if you would be so kind as to enlighten my shallow mind of nothingness!! What is going on here?" I was starting to get just a little agitated from all the puzzling entities that circled my life.
"Alright. I trust you only because I know how much you've been through. Come, let's have a seat somewhere," Mr T's tone softened a little.
Like he would know what I have been through! I took that as an insult. He was the father who neglected his daughter and I was the bestie who had to pick up all the trash he left behind. He was never even in her life! How she longed for her dad to treat her like family- but it never happened. Day in, day out, expensive gifts and latest designer clothes was all he could offer his pining only child. He was always 'busy' as he called it. The only time I ever saw him was at school, he was after all, our Principal.
