Because Life is Short

If I could turn back time, I would've let my hair down and been loud and crazy in public just as I was at home. (oh yeah!)

If I could turn back time, I wouldn't have spent my teenage years being self-concsious wishing I was someone else.

If I could turn back time, I would have

Partied more;

Played harder;

Spent more time with my relatives;

Been more generous with my P's and Q's;

Taken more photos;

And I would've taken more risks and done more crazy things.

But because time isn't forever, and life is preciously short,

(and I am still young)

I thank God everyday for the past that has been,

And look forward to the future that will be.

I will let my hair down and not be afraid to be who I am,

I will step out into the world with God taking my hand.

I will say words of thanks to those who need to hear it,

And be a listening ear to those who need it.

I will live for today,

Without a worry for tomorrow,

I will be generous with manners

And gracious with love.

And because life is about choices, and God is far until you experience Him,

It shouldn't take me too long to realise what really makes life one worth living.
