Still the Same

Ever since young she slept like a man (ie. male, unlady like).
Ever since young, she yawned like a singing opera woman. It was cute!
Today, she still sleeps like a man. Still yawns like an opera woman. When she's most comfortable, that is- when she's by my side.

Sometimes, she sleeps like a log. Literally...I think she looks like a log. She camoflouges well with the outdoor furniture. I couldn't find her one afternoon and started to panic before I saw her in between the furniture outside!

And when she has her crazy moments, that is, when she plays crazily but then all of a sudden falls asleep, she can sleep anywhere, anyhow, like this:

But her classic 'serious' sleeping pose is like this, I think she's just putting on a show trying to be more ladylike.

Some things never change. Just like my love for my animals, and God's love for his children.

One thing that did, is how young I used to look and feel. Those crazy days are but a memory now, and boy do I miss them.

Here's to a whole new life of poo, saliva, crying, and sleepless nights. Not to mention love, overflowing joy, and everlasting bonds.
